Hello ACCW Members and Visitors to our Website
I am honored to have served as President of ACCW for two years, 2016 – 2018. Suzanne Doty, who held the position for four years, created a large legacy to follow.
At the August 4, 2018 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, I was delighted to hand the role of President to Tracy Beard of the Santa Barbara Commission. Tracy has kept ACCW alive on Facebook and other social media outlets. She is heavily involved in women’s and civic issues in Santa Barbara and will bring a depth of knowledge to the role.
One of us is never as successful as the sum of us, and together we can make herstory. We are fortunate to have strong female political representatives throughout the State of California, but they can’t fight the good fight alone. They need us beside them and behind them when they initiate policies, push laws through the Legislature, and continue their fight for women’s rights which are Human Rights!
